I had a new-born baby at the time, so the shortlisting process for the new item didn’t really happen for this item. Instead I opted for a punt on a Rastar Mclaren R/C car. The seasonal toy sales were still on, and the car was reduced by 50% to £20. A quick check on my phone seemed to show that it consistently held £35-£40 online, so I snapped one up!
It only took 13 days to sell, I went for the bottom end of the range listing at £34.99, which still returned a healthy £4.54 profit. My target was to try and hit 10-15% return over these first trades, so the last few have been really pleasing to surpass that, and move on from the regular £1-2 return that I was getting a few months ago.
£50 is now the next big milestone for the project, and hopefully with a few more trades I’ll be hitting that marker soon!
