Back to the toy sales for the third time this season. The deals seemed to be getting thinner, and I was in danger of shortlisting the same items again, though I did find a few more potential bargains on my travels..
Everything was branded and popular online. I ultimately went for the most expensive item, the Disney Princess Fold ‘n’ Go Castle at a whopping £36. This did make me a bit nervous, as pretty much all my bank was going in to sale. Though the flip side of this is that I would only need a relatively modest % return to give my overall pot a healthy boost.
This was the most popular item I have had in the project so far, selling in just 5 days. It sold for £59.99, and after fees I netted a whopping £9.43 profit!
Up until now I had been scrimping on postage, using the very cheapest options available. This is fine, but I was always conscious that I had limited insurance, so if anything went wrong I was scuppered. With a bit more cash I was able to send the item via UPS with insurance and still come away with a healthy margin.
I’m now at £49.29 total bank, tantalizingly close to the £50 mark, which hopefully I can break with the next trade..
