The Project 18

FGTEEV Blister Packs

I started shortlisting for the next item, blissfully unaware of the return problems I would face from the previous sale. With 13 trades under my belt I was beginning to feel more confident sniffing out potential bargains when scouring the shelves for items, a key thing that I had learnt was that the real value was often ignored in shops, with the items that could be flipped for the most often hiding on the bottom row of a dark corner aisle.

This shortlist was very toy based, with some noodles thrown in for good measure. All of the items seemed to produce a small margin, but the ones I was most excited about were the FGTeeV blister packs. Again, I had no idea what FGTeeV was, but it had that niche collectible feel about it.

Buying a selection of blister packs and a FTeeV, I had the decision as to whether or not to open the blisters. The mini-figures inside had a mix of value, so opening could be a blessing or a curse dependent on what I had. I opted for the safer option of not opening, figuring that people always like the excitement of what they could get…

As a trade it went well, selling in just under 2 weeks and making £1.69 profit after fees. In the middle of all this I had the previous duvet returned, so my next trade was going back to selling this again.
