After a big loss on the previous trade it was back to the drawing board. I used the website https://uk.camelcamelcamel.com/ to trawl Amazon UK for any price drops, where there may be some value.
The Scooby Doo mystery mansion returned as a potential product. Sticking with the tried and tested toy theme, it seemed like a really good deal at £62.04. Looking at Scooby Doo on ebay there seemed to be good demand for the toys, with the vast majority selling.
The issue with this product was the size. Similar to earlier trade with the Stretch Gorilla, the purchase price of £81.95, was a lot more than the what it cost. Though the Final Valuation Fee and Postage combined to £19.19 which left a meagre £0.72 profit.
The bank ticked up slightly to £93.06, but really this is exactly the kind of trade to avoid, lots of money tied up with risk on my part, and then returning a profit that could be generated from a £5 item from Home Bargains. Another learning, and back to the research for another item…
