Another online trawl for bargains, led me to looking at a few different areas. An advert on my phone had taken me to the Royal Mint website. They frequently produce limited edition, collectible coin ranges featuring anything from Harry Potter to dinosaurs. I trawled the site in vain for something good, but decided to follow a similar idea through to the Royal Mail website who also had several stamp collection tie-ins.
Fortunately for me a Transformers collection had just been launched. I opted to buy the ‘prestige’ stamp book for £49.99 which was limited to a run of 1,984. The item took 6 weeks to sell, but when it did it fetched £94.95! With no promotion fee and a small postage fee I came away with the biggest ever profit £29.05!!
This vindicated my decision to liquidate the Dragon Ball Z advent calendar early, I could be still sat waiting for that to sell. Instead my total bank is now at it’s highest ever amount £88.44. Despite having limited time I managed to land on a great product, now I’m closing in on £100 and ready to go again..
